Project Description
What can be achieved using only wood?
This question guided the planning and construction of this piece.
The main body is made from maple, while the hanging system, which carries the load, is constructed from multilayered beech—a combination well suited to this application.
The advantage of this hanging system is that only a single element needs to be mounted to the wall. From there, it can support additional elements, creating a flexible system that can easily be expanded as needed.
Like any prototype, however, the design is not without its flaws. Aligning the front bodies proved to be challenging, making precise assembly more difficult than anticipated.
